Research On Resource Management Based On Grid Computing Environment

As the result of the increasing demand for computing capacity and resources, grid computing technology emerges. The final goal of grid technology is to realize resource share and coordinating work in virtual network environment and eliminate the resource isolated island. Resource management is a very complex and challenging work whose efficiency is directly related to the performance of the grid system. In this thesis we introduce a resource management model based on agent. GridSim—a grid modeling and emulation toolkit, is used to emulate the algorithm. The experiment results show that integrating credit into grid resource management system is feasible. It increases the trust between the consumers and the producers and improves the scheduling performance. Finally, the model and algorithm is summarized, and further research direction is put forward.
