In this paper, the composition, fundamental and parameters which have an influence on the performances of the LLL (Low-Level-Light) system, analyzed the atmospheric composition and the transmissivity of atmosphere which has an effect on the visual range about the LLL night vision. The visual range represents the performance of LLL imaging system. There are many parameters, which have influence on the visual range, such as the night sky radiation of objects, atmosphere, sky radiance, the component's performance of the LLL image system. Thus it is difficult to get the accurate result through calculating. In the paper, a more practicable detecting equation are described, and according to the radiate characters of natural scenery and night sky, arrangements has been made to simulate a uniform night sky light as well as targets and spot scenes which conform to actual conditions of reflectivity and contrast within a darkened room, thus providing a steady night simulation system for testing the low-level-light vision systems, and we have do a series of experiment to testify the system.
