Security is a very serious problem in the application of network and multimedia. To solve the problem, nowadays many technologies are considered, especially for image watermarking technology, which catches a wide attention for its unique advantages in copyright protection, and becomes the hotspot of current development. The paper studies on static image, and uses two-bit image with copyright information as watermark.First, It encrypts the two-bit image of watermark by chaotic mapping based on the sensitivity of the chaotic mapping to the original value. This method is very simple and has good security. Then it gives another watermarking arithmetic without original image based on DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform) and characteristics of Human Visual System (HVS), and produces a satisfactory effect.
