Digital watermarking, which originates from steganography, provides a novel way for the protection of intellectual property rights, and becomes a hot spot in the research field of multimedia data security in recent years.Fabric is a key consumable product in our daily life. It is important to find an effective way to protect famous brand. In the paper, we presented a new digital blind watermark algorithm for single layer structure jacquard and a new digital watermark algorithm for multilayer structure jacquard based on the research to techniques and counterfeit. In these algorithms, a shortest coding scheme is designed, the problem of tensility balance is solved, and the challenge of cut to watermark is considered. These algorithms are evaluated on technical possibility, appearance influence and increased cost through computer experiment and on-site experiment. It shows that these algorithms are effective and feasible, and the algorithms minimized the disfigure of design. The algorithm will greatly increase the cost and difficulty of personators and accordingly protect the famous brand of jacquard effectively.In Chapter 1, we first describe the basic concepts and fundamental principles of digital watermarking, including the definition, classification, application and general framework. Then, we analyze the state and the necessity of the copyright protection in the fabric profession. Finally, we briefly introduce our work and outline the thesis.In Chapter 2, we introduce the whole frame of the security system of fabric watermark and the main function of the system. We also analyze the craft characteristics of jacquard fabric and the external appearance's stipulation condition to the profess of warermarking.In Chapter 3 and 4, we introduce two different watermark algorithms, one algorithm is a digital blind watermark algorithm for single layer structure jacquard, the other is a new digital watermark algorithm for multilayer structure jacquard.In Chapter 5, we conclude the thesis, together with some possible research directions in the future.
