With the development of the society and information technology, systems,involved by decision making, become more and more complicated. There are toomany parameters to consider, and too many strategies to choose. So it is hard togenerate strategies and make decision only by human brain. Artificial intelligent isin the rapid development times. It closed ties with computers causes people toresearch knowledge process. The most important researches are knowledgerepresentation and reasoning issue. In order to overcome the shortcomings ofcurrent intelligent systems, in this thesis the extension theory is applied to theresearch of knowledge representation and reasoning.At present, the matter-element model of the contradictory problems and theextension methods to solve the contradictory problems to generate the decisionstrategies had been built up. This thesis introduces the extension theory andextension engineering methods into decision making support system. The goal isto research the extension transformation technology to generate strategies whichcan be operated on the computer, according to the basis of the extension strategygeneration logic and the achievement of the extension theory.This thesis includes several research parts:1. Apply extension set theory, build an extension model to improvesynthetical environment index. Build dependent functions to decide every factorsthat affect and improve environment.2. Using extension analysis method to fred extension resources, and throughextension transformation to sovle the contradictory problem between currentenvironment pollution and improve the synthetical environment index.3. Research on the formal description of strategy generation that can beimplimented in computer based on extension theory and methods.4. Desingn and program the strategy generating system that improve thesynthetical environment index issue, based on the above researches and the theoretical fruit of the workgroup. With a reasonable interface betweenhuman and machine, the system has implemented the strategy generation andevaluating process which is based on extentics transformation technology.The creative work in this thesis includes:In accordance with environment pollution and improving environmentindex, create the extension model of synthetical environment index and carryout the extension analysis by using extension inference and extension decisionmaking. Use database technology and Java language to build extension strategyapplication software on computer. Generate the strategies of solving theenvironment problems and generate the extension strategies set, and also givesuperiority evaluation for the strategies. Part of work in this thesis has somecreative meaning, and would encourage the extension decision making methodforward.
