Research And Improvement On Specification Of The Information Industry Department Home Network Protocol

With the development of electronic technology and network, people have proposed higherdemands for the life quality accordingly. They wish to realize the intellectual control of homedevices and information-share within them and also to have a home network system which mayprovide different services by connecting with internet.Home network system covers various devices with different electronic performances. Onlyvia using the same standard can these devices be shared and co-operated and thereforeinformatization and network be realized. Based on a full understanding and analysis of the mainhome network protocol and standard organizations at home and abroad, the paper focuses onanalyzing and studying the series of home network standards issued by the work-team of Chinahome network standards from the Information Industry Department in 2005.Considering the completeness and expandability of the home network protocol standards,the Information Industry Department only completed the basic protocol framework of the wholehome network standard system. However the home network protocol itself is also a complexsystem and each component of it shall be improved increasingly to meet the developing needs ofthe home network industrialization.The paper has proposed correspondent plan and detailed protocol description to perfect theuniversal device control protocol (UDCP), location register protocol (LRP) and channel creationprotocol (CCP) according to the problems existing within them.First, the paper has analyzed the insufficiency and problems of the present UDCP and thenwe have expounded the plan to perfect and optimize it from the aspects of device registration,USD distribution, device description file removal and the synchronization of the mobile controlterminal and sub-network gateway.Second, by learning the thoughts of the present LRP and CCP, using NAT penetratingtechnology the paper have designed a new LRP and a new CCP to solve the difficulties broughtby the dynamic IP of the home gateway to the internet users with the prerequisite of notchanging the existing network devices. Finally, the paper has made a summary of the whole passage and an outlook of the homenetwork study.
