Research And Achievement Of Secure E-Mail Based On PGP

With the rapid development of Internet, the E-mail is deeply received by the numerous network users because of its convenient and swift characteristic. No matter individual, enterprise, government even include the military etc., are all carrying on relation in the daily life and connection at work through the E-mail. However, because of the security question of the network that makes the information security of user's E-mail unable to guarantee. Especially it istransmited in most e-mail systems are all proclaimed in writing at present, the people who have ulterior motives can obtain information of user's E-mail easily,even forge or distort the content of it. At the same time, The Spam begins to be perplexing the extensive E-Mail consumer from 90's . The question of E-mail information security is more and more important.This paper mainly studies safe problem of E-Mail system based on PGP blends encrypting technology. Firstly, I introduce some cryptology knowledge and related E-Mail protocols. Then ,I give a view of popular E-Mail standard PGP now. I put forward some possible security problem about PGP, for example, spoliation of public key, faking the time stamp of E-Mail. At the same time,I give some solution measures about these problems. At the fouth chapter, I design a safe E-Mail system based on client.The contribution of this paper is getting some security problems about PGP by analyzing PGP technique. Moreover,I dispose of spam,content encryption and authentification of E-Mail.
