The Research And Designment Of E-Mail System Security

With the popularization of Internet, the E-mail acting a important role in our life, and we seem it as a indispensable way to communicate each other. However, we're being troubled with the problem of security, especially the spam mail. It's really important that how to4mprove the security level of E-mail system, identify a spam, restrict or refuse a spam.As a fact of current E-mail service, most E-mail server are based on SMTP protocol. There're some noticeable limitation in this protocol, so inevitably the service will be threaten with those security problem.This thesis discusses how to improve the security level of E-mail system, shows the relevant works in Inner Mongolia University's network, and analyzed it's effect. The thesis also discusses limitation of actual anti-spam production, and aim at the reason that have been used by spam maker, and then designed a betterment of SMTP protocol. It is based on current E-mail server but allows to verify the mail source, so it could effectively restrict the spam and spam maker.
