| The Converged network - a merged network providing integrating service of TV networks, the traditional telephone networks and computer networks is the trend of the times. Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology has emerged as a high-speed communication basis However, the existing three-platform / 2 layer of user data transmission platform of Internet transmite inefficiency, so it is hard to support the future quality of the different services of data flow to ensure the quality of services. In this background, Sichuan network communication Key Laboratory developed single physical layer User Platform Architecture (SUPA). The new network architecture use outband signaling control technology, its communication network is divided into user data transmission and exchange platform (U-platform) and the singnaling control and management platform (S&M- platform). SUPANET (the network using SUPA is called SUPANET) services with a set of quality assurance system, including the following two parts: Signaling control and management platform safeguard mechanism and user platform exchange mechanismThis paper studies the theme of Qos Management Information Base (QoS-MIB) in SUPANET. This is a Quality of Service (QoS) definition of management information base, which provid a common management information base for the network manager to facilitate the extraction and control QoS parameters. This makes the manager of SUPANET not like most of the traditional network management that have to traverse each equipment to extract QoS parameters because no specific QoS MIB, but to provide QoS information to managers straightly.This paper introduced the concept of existing quality of service support technology, also introduced the quality of service assurance system in SUPA. At the basis of studying the QoS-MIB status, getting relationship between the traditional Internet MIB and the U-MIB & QoS-MIB of SUPANET, begins to introduce the QoS-MIB in SUPANET. The writer introduced the main parameters of QoS-MIB according to the protocol (such as QOSNP, TMEP, CEP) and sub-platform (such as singnaling control platform and the user platform) of SUPANET first, then introduced the target groups included in QoS-MIB. QoS-MIB includes virtual line (VL) group and signaling control group. VL group has frame mapping table, service class table and Virtual Path Statistics table; singaling Control group includs several major platform control protocol respective quality of service related to the MIB table. The whole thesis realizes the right SUPA QoS-MIB parameter extraction, established a basic framework for QoS-MIB.Finally, this thesis made object definition to the author's definition QoS-MIB by Abstract Syntax Notation 1 (ASN.1) and did simulation experiments visit on the network MIB Browser. Experimental results show that it is reasonable for QoS-MIB planning and the definition, and provide a useful reference basis for further research. |
