The Research On Video Processing Technology Of Locomotive Monitoring System Based On DSP

Locomotive's controlling and recording device is the important installment of safeguards the train's security. It may real-time collection and processing whole information of the train in time, causes the Locomotive to go under the hypothesis secure state. It may preserve the information in the analysis installation in time of the Locomotive stops. In all monitoring information, the video is the most veritably and directly, it can record the fact of the way and the compartment. The video information has guaranteed the Locomotive's security and the season of accident be found. Accordingly, this thesis introduces research and design of the video monitoring system which is one of the important part of the train's controlling and recoding device.The paper introduces the hardware designs and program design of the video monitoring system based on TMS320DM642 was discussed with emphasis, and the detail design is given. At the same time, realization system software design based on characteristic of MPEG-4 and software transplant of DM642.In the paper, firstly introduces characteristic of Locomotive's controlling and recording device and the theory of video technology. Secondly it introduces the hardware designs of this a platform, including system configuration, capability of DM642, OSD FPGA, Video Coding/Decoding chip, network module. Thirdly, it describing Coding/Decoding process of MPEG-4 and function of the network and simpleness image recognition .Finally, it introduces the software transplant and optimization to DSP.
