Using the mainstream 3D-CAD as the basic platform, it researches mainly the basic software component of CAPP in the 3D environment, adds some accessorial functions such as system modeling and software component integration based on carrying on addition,deletion,modification and inquiry to the software component, ultimately, realizes synchro visualization expression of 3D-CAD/CAPP, parametric two-way drive between 3D models, establishing the 3D-CAPP technology resources library. This thesis introduces the status,development trend and existent problems of the current CAPP system, puts forward the solutions to CAPP software component based on 3D platform, completes the design to system structure of software component, researches some key techniques of 3D-CAPP, and develops a reconfigurable CAPP system which is able to customize technology according to the factual situation of a enterprise based on software component.CAPP system based on software component.
