Research Of ERP System Application Based On Workflow Technology

While the economy in our country increases in high speed, the competition among enterprise is more and more drastic. In order to be a winner in the new round competition of market, the enterprise information is the important factor besides core competition ability of the enterprise.Now the enterprise management is realized by the ERP system. The ERP system has a several characters including a big amount of persistent data, a large number of users, the complexity of business logic, the complex and various business process and etc. So the ERP system need to be developed in steady, opened, extendable architecture.The architecture is software flat of system developing and technologic specification. It aims to flexibly ,efficiently develop and maintain system .Through research of recent technology of architecture and realistic requirement, this paper bring out four layers architecture model including presentation layer, controller layer, business logic layer and persistence layer. The presentation layer is in charge of display of interface and responding for operation of user; The controller layer is receiving the request from the presentation layer and invoke the relative service of business layer; The business logic layer provide function of business logic processing service; The persistence is between the data source and the business logic layer which provides service of data access for the business logic layer. This paper discussed the relative technology of each layer, invoked method of layers and designed the architecture.Because the enterprise business process is complex and various, this paper applied work flow technology into design of architecture, designed the data model of the system architecture and work flow and designed the work flow service module. As to execution of whole business process, system architecture adopts the way of mail driving process instead of the way of function driving. In the system architecture, the mail service module was designed and realized which enabled the user process his business work by the way of receiving and processing the business mail.In the end of the paper, it analyzed ERP system of H tobacco factory and explained how to develop the application software on the system architecture through the example of purchase management system. The application example showed that developing the application software on the ERP system architecture increases the efficiency of developing and enhance the maintaining property of the system and extensible property of the function.
