Design And Realization Of The DB Looking Up System Based On TMN

With the rapid development of the telecommunication industry, telecommunications service providers have established complex telecommunications network in the national scope. All of the equipment vendors have their own network management systems (NMS) for managing part of the telecommunications network. But there is no unified information model and standard of network management interface, so there are many limitations in NMS, they cannot manage the entire telecommunications network synthetically.In view of above situation, according to the demand and the tendency of the development of telecommunications network management technology, this thesis studies the TMN basic concepts and implementation principles first, constructing a theoretical basis for the development of a NMS confirming with the TMN specifications. Then, this thesis discoursed on how to develop the functions defined by the TMN recommendations basing on the unified network management platform which conforms to standards of TMN. The author had a part in the research and development of the unified network management platform. Afterwards, basing on the theory of the TMN and the technology of the unified network management platform ,how to develop the tool management (TM) system which is an important supplement of TMN is discussed in this thesis .Finally, combined with the work in research and developing OMC system of CDMA telecommunication network management system in ZTE corporation ,the author analyzed and has developed a service DB Looking Up subsystem of the NMS, which is basing on the implementation of tool management system, And introduces the results of the test .DB Looking Up is an important constituent of TM system and OMC, Providing powerful tool to implement and check other modules. it also established a basis of developing synthesis NMS.
