| With the fast development of Computational Intelligence technology, it hasbeen used widely in control and optimization of the pumping stations. The largesewage pumping stations are playing an important role nowadays in the city'sdrainage system. Reducing energy cost and using modern automation technologycould obviously increase the economic efficiency. After discussing the currentsituation and the characteristics of M2 sewage pumping station, an optimalscheduling model based on the Genetic Algorithm was proposed.The Genetic Algorithm is a global optimization method which uses themechanism of the natural inherit and the natural selection. It has less restriction onoptimization design and has the ability of getting optimization or quasi-optimizationresults, by starting from numbers of initial values and searching through differentpath. Because the efficiency of pumping station is mainly determined by the lift ofwater pump, the number of pumps and the speed ratios of frequency conversionpumps, it can be improved by selecting the proper pumps and ratios. According tothe rules of the Genetic Algorithm, the author found the math model, using the totalpower of the pumps as the objective function. With the proposed model, solutionsbased on the genetic algorithm were obtained and relevant optimal schedulingsoftware was developed.The results have showed that the Genetic Algorithm is appropriate for theoptimization of non-linear system such as the large sewage pumping station.Compared with the traditional optimization methods, this algorithm has greatadvantages and could achieve the expected goal. |
