| EAM is the acronym for Enterprise Asset Management. EAM system is a management system ,in the life-cycle management process of enterprise assets from the procurement, installation commissioning, operation to transfer even reject. EAM system can increase the operational reliability and asset value, reduce maintenance and repair costs, improve enterprise management and personnel making, strengthen the enterprise competitiveness,by the use of modern information technology. It track and manage the back life-cycle process of enterprise assets, at the base of enterprise assets and equipment accounting, according to the submission, review, the implementation of work table, in accordance with such several possible models as fault repair, preventive maintenance, reliability - centered maintenance and condition maintenance. It can increase maintenance efficiency and reduce overall maintenance costs. Equipment assets occupy a very large proportion in the enterprise assets. Chemical enterprises require high reliability for Continuous production , so the annual maintenance costs of equipment maintenance accounted for more than 10% of the total cost.
