Workflow Technology has been widely used in various sectors. As the enterprise business continues to expand, demand Workflow platform to be accurate and efficient response to the workflow applications' request, with the support of concurrent user access capabilities. Therefore, how to build high-performance Workflow engine system becomes an urgent need to solve problem.The main work of this paper is to establish a high-performance-oriented cluster Workflow management system framework, in order to flexible, and efficient to support enterprise business growth in the workflow system of high-performance needs.This paper expounds the theory of Workflow technology and its development, and introduces XML and JMS, and other related technologies; cluster technology will be introduced to workflow management system, the cluster nodes work together to provide the same visit or to achieve the same purpose, to improve Workflow system service reliability and availability. established a high-performance-oriented cluster Workflow management system framework, and a new cluster system load-balancing model established for Workflow services; at the same time, JMS technology applications to the system's Research and Design to solving the various communications between the engine, workflow management for clusters within the messaging system to provide safe, reliable messaging platform to enhance overall system reliability and scalability.In this paper, based on the analysis of the theory, introduced the framework in the workflow management system-SynchroFLOW, developed a prototype system HPFlow. At last, this paper summarized the work accomplished, and gives further research fields in the future.
