With the development of society, demand of transportation, security, storage,and the military construction, and other areas of security and local record alarm systems is bigger and higher, and promotes the development of video surveillance system.Integration, digital, network, and intelligence are the direction. Video compression and real-time video transmission has always been the two major factors of the development of the video surveillance system.Therefore, video compression in the embedded monitoring terminal, and real-time video transmission technology has a very important significance.Firstly, introduce the development process and direction of the video surveillance system, and the application of streaming media technology in the video surveillance systems.Secondly, analyse the need of the network video surveillance system, discuss the choice of system architecture and network structure,propose the framework of the video surveillance system based streaming media technology, and introduce simply the realization of the embedded monitoring terminal.Thirdly, introduce the characteristics of the MPEG-4 codec, study the encoding of the information of the shape,texture and movement,compare and analyse the impact of the choices of the initial match points and matching search criteria and the selection of strategies on motion estimation, and replant and optimize the realization of encoding of Xvid in the BF533.Fourthly, introduce the protocol of the RTP/RTCP, analyse the transmission model and package and quality control of the MPEG-4, and use the opening code JRTPLIB of RTP / RTCP to realize real-time video streaming transmission.Finally, introduce the video receivers based on the dual-buffer queue and video decoder and display with DirectShow .In this paper, the video surveillance system based the streaming media technology, makes full use of existing network resources of LAN and WAN to achieve network monitoring, improves security, reliability, scalability, manageability and reusability of the system. |
