The Network Video Player Based On DirectShow Technology

The streaming media has already changed the existing download way of the network materials,People can see the picture and hear the sound but needn't wait for very long time.In recent years,the application of the streaming media technology in each department of the society is more and more extensive,such as Multimedia meeting,video on demand (VOD),fields such as teleeducation,tele-medicine,controlling long-rangely,the network radio station and TV station,etc.,so it is necessary to study a set of video transmission systems with commonability and efficiency.Through comparing with various schemes,we select Directshow based on COM technology to realize Video acquisition and network broadcasts. DirectShow is based on Component Object Model Technology,It can control the effect of the video very flexibly,support the various media type and offer the high-quality multimedia playback.It can improve commonability and expansibility of the system.The video transmission depends on code technology,H.264 is the newest video coding standard of ITU-T and ISO.Compared with prior standards,this joint standard has better compression performance.This thesis introduces this new standard,and have developed the code Filter based on directshow.
