LBS(Location-based services) is not only the integrated services which is a combination of links communication, service providing and location access, but also a amalgamation of navigation, positioning, mobile communication and information providing technology. With the maturity of mobile communication network and terminal positioning technology, application based on LBS will attract people's attention prevalently.This thesis makes a study on LBS system based on WSDM, and undertakes technological innovation research mainly on the entire LBS system analysis and design. This thesis focuses on the LBS system architecture design, the hierarchy model of the LBS application platform and the related key technologies. The specific research contents are as follows:1. The design of service-oriented architecture in LBS. The design goal of LBS system was analyzed, and the concept of service-oriented was applied to design LBS system.2. The design of LBS application platform. Aiming at the application characteristics of LBS application platform, the hierarchy model was presented, and the management interface based on WSDM and related modules are designed.3. The design of communication agent in the environment of low bandwidth and high delay. Aiming at the specific applied environment of the developed LBS system and combining artificial intelligence, the structure of communication agent was designed. Meanwhile, the methods of state update and conditions-reflex rules were analyzed. Through data compression, UDP overtime retransmission, data encryption and other methods, the communication performance and safety factor were improved.4. The research of geography markup language. Geography markup language is the base of interaction of geographic information. After the analysis of its syntax and semantics, the GML which applies XML to geographic information modeling was studied.5. The research of massive vehicles scheduling. After analyzing the classification and heuristic search in Shortest Path Search as well as aiming at the problem of massive vehicles scheduling, an optimization algorithm was proposed.This research is the infiltration and cross-cutting of geographic information systems, service-oriented software engineering, artificial intelligence, computer networks and marketing. It is a useful exploration that solves the problem of LBS system scalability, intelligent communication and LBS services providing. All of above work will be useful to the development of LBS system and services, expand its field of application, and promote the applying research of LBS technology and other related science and technology.
