| Since 1990s, along with technique development of wireless communication,embedded computation, sensor and MEMS (Micro-Electro Mechanical Systems)etc., people have paid more attention to micro sensor with the capability of sensing,computing and wireless network communication, and WSN (Wireless SensorNetworks) that is made up of such sensors. WSN is very adaptive to target trackingbecause the sensor nodes have the characteristic of tiny and easy to arrangement etc.Many researches have been done in the field of target tracking algorithm. Thisthesis researches on the algorithm of target tracking about WSN.The basic theories for WSN and the process of target tracking are introduced inChapter 1. The paper proposes a target tracking algorithm with Energy-Efficientcharacteristic, which is introduced in Chapter 2 and 3. The study is showed asfollow:Based on the research of the existing target tracking algorithms home andabroad, this paper discuss the different performances between these algorithms andproposes a target tracking algorithm with Energy-Efficient characteristic. Thisalgorithm can balance the energy consumption among sensors, so as to extend thenetwork lifetime for more tasks, while the tracking stability and robustness isguaranteed.This paper elaborates the connectivity between sensor nodes which areparticipate in the target tracking process and proposes a solution to meet theproblem of connectivity when the transmission radius less than the twice of sensorradius, so as to reduce the cost of transmission. |
