In traditional applications, each ESP controller was responsible for controlling the power supply for a single power supply zone. Due to the limited communication network, every controller was mostly isolated, and lacked necessary coordination and cooperation with other controllers, so that various optimization algorithms was just limited in a single sub-region, therefore, the overall optimization results was not obvious. As the smoke discharge standard dictated by the State became more and more strict, the traditional ESP faced severe crisis of survival. Meanwhile, computer science and network communications technology developed rapidly, which brought profound changes to the ESP technology. The IPC system was born in this background.Using the powerful network communications function, IPC system can connect each single ESP controller into a whole network with a specific topology structure. With the help of network control and closed-loop control technology, IPC system can reduce power consumption obviously while ensure the dedusting efficiency staying in an appropriate level. This paper aimed to study the the fundamental theory and key technology of IPC system, has brought forward a feasible IPC system design scheme, and discussed several key processes during actual IPC system design, including design of embedded network function and Web server, design of supervisory software, application of close-loop control, trouble diagnosis, and so on. The major research work and contributions of the thesis include:(1) Transplant uClinux OS on the ARM mother board, develope embedded ethernet communication and Web server functions, make ESP controller have powerful ethernet communication function;(2) Design a specific supervisory system, aiming to supervisor and manage ESP controllers remotely. This system possesses well-developed group controlling, trouble shooting and network expanding functions. Employingâ…¥curve collecting and real-time data sampling functions to collect the operational parameters of electric field dynamicly, which is used to analyse field characteristics and envaluate algorithm conveniently;(3) Bring in close-loop control technology, optimize the corona power control and rappering time of each power supply zone, and thereby actually maximize the collection efficiency of the overall ESP, minimize the power consumption as well.(4) Based on expert knowledge and engineering experiences, work out the fault diagnosis expert system, which can analyse the ESP operational parameters and diagnose online, and give indicative information accordingly.
