Although the early generating technology of signals have been mature, the stability and precision are not enough, it don't far meet for the modern EW circumstance. The wideband frequency synthesis is key element of radar signal generator. In this paper, it designs a project based on DDS is adopted in the radar signal resource.This treatise brings forward base on DSP radar signal generator. A low-frequency base band signal is generated by DDS, it would hybrid PLL to produce wideband radar signal. It adopt ADSP2183 made by corporation in the USA to charge for waveform database selection ,clock selection, control of DDS and PLL, the project designs active proportion integral filter, phase detector, DSP control interface, DDS hardware interface. The system realizes better phase noise, spurious, and change frequency time, it based on 450MHz band.The targets that radar signal generator attained are: spurious level <-50dBc, phase noise <-100dBc/1Hz/1KHz, frequency change time≤150us. Many different signals, such as single tone signal, Linear Frequency Modulation (LFM) signal and Stepped-frequency Pulse (SFP) signal etc., it obtains a 200~650MHz frequency source which is high frequency stability, low phase noise, low. This scheme is suitable for RF, microwave, and even millimeter wave radar signal. The signal generating technology is not only used in radar, but used in communication, navigation, meteorology, remote control, electronic countermeasure and modern instrument etc.
