As the competition in the telecom market becomes more and more fierce, how to provide quick, exact, qualified service has become the concern of each telecom company.The newly-established BSS system of Jiangsu Telecom, basing on the principle of"center on clients, guided by market, and aim at benefit", can realize management of all clients, customization of all products, handling of all operations, connection of all channels, configuration of all flows and uniform management on connections. Among all these functions, the PSTN(Public Swith Telephone Network) equipments management module of resources management is foundation which is the whole system.AS the article research emphases,the module mainly includes exchanger maintenance, MDF maintenance, joint-box maintenance, distribution box maintenance, cable maintenance etc., each module operates to all have in the interface many likeness of function such as: equipments query, the equipments increases or modification, equipments module port maintenance,equipments link maintenance, batch installation device etc. so to this of the research have very high and realistic meaning.This article first introduces the disadvantages of the original 97 Business Support System and the main features and functions of the BBS system. And then is the requirements, scheme realization and skills used in the fix telephone type module and each function point like data model, business regulation and the backgrounding dealing logic are introduced. The final part is about the practical implementing state of local BSS system in Wuxi.After every module being validated independently, the entire system is tested synthetically.
