Research On The Key Technologies Of XMPP Server

Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP), the next generation of instant communication protocol, having a good scalability, is designed to solve interoperability between different networks very well.The background and merits of XMPP protocol are introduced at the beginning of this paper. Moreover, this paper describes the development and future of the XMPP in details, especially the jingle protocol of XMPP. XMPP protocol module is added into the framework of the FreePP server. The XMPP module can complete the registration of XMPP clients, online information, accessing to friends list, P2P voice communications and other basic functions. At last, this paper finishs the development and optimization of XMPP protocol module source code. XMPP protocol module chart and P2P negotation chart are carried out. A detailed analysis is made on the signals of the P2P voice communication.
