Research And Implementation Of Wireless Network Management System

Geographical Information System (GIS) is a new research of geography.AS a new research area of information technology,GIS has a wide application in future.Now,it is a hot research direction that how to combine GIS technology with the traditional data management system and improve information management.Fristly, we discusse the geographical information system's concepts, characteristics,classifications and development. Then, we focus on the domestic and international research dynamic states and hot issues.With the development of GIS and Internet technology,WEB GIS publishing Internet-based GIS data for the global users to search or index information has become one of the most important directions of the geography information system.After reading on the existing Web GIS technology features and application,I summarizes the comparison result of WEB GIS products available in the market.Secendly,we discusse the research and implementation of WEB GIS technology in the field of wireless network management.In recent years, mobile communication developed in high speed way. There is a hot problem that how to improve the network quality and how to reduce the network blind area. The network management based on WEB GIS technology will provide us an important method for the future network optimizations.Teamed up with others,I analyzed our users'needs and difficulties carefully. According to conclusions, we designed the"GIS wireless network management system"based on B/S framework and Web GIS technology sucessfully. Using ESRI's ARCGIS 9 Series as the GIS platform, SQL Server 2000 as the database platform, enterprise's intranet as the network infrastructure, we innovatively built a visualization management model. With the development of realistic, I provide an effective method based on the standard map projection model theory, map layers and block divisions as well.we use the unicom's project as a case to show the design and application of management system. In this system,we design the GIS platform by ESRI ARCGIS 9 series, SQL SERVER 2000 as the database. We use the Shanghai Unicom's intranet as the primary network platform. The results have proved that the wireless network management system can effectively enhance the efficiency of network optimization and management.Finally, I introduce the application of the system as well as forecasting the development direction.Through the actual using, the system proved effective in improving mobile operators network optimizing ability and complaint handling capabilities.
