With the rapid development and interaction of computer technology, electron technology, network technology and communication technology, the wireless network technology is emerged as the times require. The wireless network technology has been widely used in lots of important fields, such as science fields, national defenses and military affairs, environment, industrial control, couter strike, disaster resists and so on.It is very valuable to research how to utility the wireless network technology to realize family electrical equipment management. Based on the low transmission speed and the short transmission distance, it is very suitable to transmit data of a digital family system with IEEE802.15.4 protocol. Because of public source code, Linux is used in recent years more widely.Based on the requirement of consumers, the application characteristics of digital family, protocol of IEEE802.15.4 and the development of wireless network, a new digital family application architecture is presented in the paper. With the new architecture, IEEE802. 15.4 protocol can be run in Linux.First,this paper aim to wireless network technology, carry out a deep research into this subject, and give a summary to the apply feature of wireless network,then make a study of the key technology of numeric family.Secondly,this paper collect the actual requirement data of consumers by network questionnaire survey,and then, made a systemic research in the numeric family market apply and requirement analysis of wireless network ,so that it provides a ground for the function design and development of numeric family apply system.This paper design the protocol layer of IEEE802.15.4 in Linux,Primarily redesign the kernel protocol layer of Linux-IEEE802.15.4.With the modification of relative drive and management applications. Packing and unpacking course of LRWPAN virtual equipment.Solve the problem of NWk and MAC communication block,network business overtime,NLME-LEAVE and MLME service key problems。Lastly,through theory analysis and practical verificafion,using the popular stable OS plateform Linux,open source database software Mysql and middleware Tomcat, after function test,we finished parts of numeric family system upper-class application development,such as user certification,household electrical appliances control,security warning,information inquire and system setting. At the sametime, this system try to use santandard design for the module in the design progress,in order to make it a continuable model and come to a really practical stage.
