The Design And Application Of A Monitor System For Construction Machinery

The domestic infrastructure construction has become very important to China with the time close to the Olympic Games and high-speed development in these years. For the purpose to capture the maximaze market, how to improve product quality and service, how to increase the technology level and build up top-brand enterprise image has become a criticle task for the domestic construction corporations.Embedded system is one of the leading-edge technologies today. Using this technology to improve the construction equipments has been widely used overseas, but in domestic there are seldom such products.This article is about an embedded monitor system which combines the embedded technology with the construction machines.Modularization is applied in the embedded construction monitor system design(LCD module and remote monitor module). LCD module is designed based on CPU of HMS30C7202 with responsibility for receiving the data from CAN BUS, display and save it; Remote monitor module is designed based on CPU of LPC2119 with the responsibility for receiving the data form GPS module and CAN BUS and send it to the control center.Both LCD module and remote monitor module are based onμC/OS- II real-time system including the corresponding interface drive program.The systems mounted in excavators and Pumps have been tested for more than half of year. In this process, the system is improved on continuously and complies with the national standards for low temperature , shake , shock and EMC. At present, the remote monitor device has been launched with the sales more than 200 per month mainly for LOVOL and ZOOMLION and the Market feedback for production quality is good.
