Recently, network integration technology, communication software technology, optimal control technology, which have been applied at some degree on large-scale pumping station. At present, there are many problems so that model which worth extending has been not built. The paper is written by way of background as remote monitor system in Tianshi pump station as well as my own factual labor fruit, in order to carry on discussing about research and construction of remote monitor system for large-scale pumping station. The paper mainly deals with five aspects:1.Describing problems existed now and trend in the future on remote monitor system for large-scale pumping station.2.Providing network integration project of constructing remote monitor system for large-scale pumping station.3.Putting forward integration project of different monitor systems via COM,DOM,ActiveX,OPC, at the same time realizing nonincremental integration of video monitor network, contribution electrical automatic network and machine's group controlled network.4.Analysing and developing communication software of monitor system, and also, realizing the communication between monitor system and the third equiment.5. Combining the general attributes of large-scale pumping station, realizing to control units optimally in Tian shi pump station by the introduction of clustering control technology.
