| The optimization of GSM network is to find the reasons which effect the system operation performance by means of the parameter collection and data analysis, to make the system operate in its best status by adjusting parameters and adopting the appropriate technologies, to maximize the benefit of the network resources, to make useful suggestions of the maintenanc, plan and constructions of the network, and so on.This thesis discusses the optimization of GSM network through two facets: one is the introduction of the process of network optimization, the most popular methods of optimization and the related software and parameters, the other is the instance of the network optimization of YunCheng District.The popular methods in optimization are traffic analysis, signal trace and driver test analysis. The optimization of the wireless GSM system is to utilize the three methods mentioned before, to focus on the key performance such as the connected rate, the droped call rate and the success rate of handover etc. Through the circulation of statistics and test→data analysis→make optimization schedule→system adjust→solve problems→statistics and test, the network quality to be improves.In the half year optimized process, based on the basic data, the 180 reports, the analysis of the test data and the trace of signals, we optimized the frequencies and the handover relations of the cells and the parameter settings of the whole network, and achieved satisfied results. Besudes, for Yuncheng urban district tridimensional network, we also have achieved satisfying effect. |
