The Researching And Implementation Of English-Uyghur-Chinese Electronic Dictionary Based On Windows CE.Net

The paper mainly described the important technology and methods of developing English-Uyghur-Chinese electronic dictionary based on Windows CE.net. The developed electronic dictionary can be transplanted to small embedded equipment which based on Windows CE.Net. It realized the function of Uyghur palm dictionary.Windows CE.Net has been widely used in many fields such as industrial control, information appliances, mobile communication and automobile electronics, personal electronic goods etc. Yet, there are so many electronic dictionary products in these fields, but a lot of these products included only English and Chinese two languages, does not have including Uyghur language. In this paper, the developed embedded electronic dictionary of English-Uyghur-Chinese operating system was Windows CE.net 5.0, which can be run on these products regardless which platform their underlying operating system were.Developing Uyghur software on windows CE.net platform, the first problem encountered is the inputting question of Uyghur language. On the personal computer, Uyghur language's inputting technique already has implemented, but in the embedded environment which based on Windows CE.NET, it still was a difficult problem. This paper proposed the Uyghur inputting method based on the soft inputting panel and keyboard layout, it solved the Uyghur inputting question of non-keyboard embedded environment. For the difficulty of searching and sorting Uyghur data, the paper has carried on the analysis to the searching method for Uyghur language data, has introduced a kind of new searching method for Uyghur language dada called Uyghur searching method. Finally, according to the Uyghur people's writing and reading habit of right-to-left, the Uyghur language's displaying means was designed.
