Design And Implement Of A Council-chamber Booking System Based On Struts Framework

In a company or a department,council-chambers are import resources,they are used continually.But it always courts conflicts among departments.In order to avoid this phenomenon,persons in charge of the departments must book the council-chambers one day or several days before the meeting date,and they must confer with each orther.But it is very diffcult to do this and it will spend a lot of time and energy.This reduces the occupating coefficient of the council-chambers and increases the council-chamber administrator's burdens.The rapid development of information technology and computer networks technology provide people and society with more and more conveniences.The success of OA brings a new solution to avoid the shortcomings of traditional council-chamber management.Based on this background,we designed and developed this Web-based council-chamber booking system.JSP is a popular web technology and it has absolute advantages on web design and development.Struts is a efficient and fully-fledged framework which is an open source framework for building Servlet/JSP based web applications based on the Model-View-Controller(MVC) design paradigm.The thesis's target is to build a powerful and direct viewing visual booking system based on Struts framework,its outstanding characteristic is easy to operate.First of all,this thesis has presented the main background and significance about this thesis and its technology including JSP,Struts framework,MVC design pattern and other correlative technology.Secondly,it introduces in details the realization of the system,including demand analysis,the system architecture design and realization and testing of functional modules.In the end,the system's optimized method and important technology in development is discussed. The thesis works out a visual council-chamber booking system based on Struts framework.It provides a multi-function,user-friendly and simple operation information platform.
