Knowledge Rrepresentation Technology Research Of XML In Expert System

Expert System is a kind of programme system with a great deal of special knowledge, including repository, database, inference mechanism, explain mechanism, man-machine interface, knowledge acquiring and other function modules. According to one or more experts' special fields knowledge, it can infer and simulate human experts' decision-making process to solve those complex problems which need experts' knowledge. At present, expert system is not limited to solve scientific problem, but has already begun to be used to industry, enterprise area, has infiltrated into all sectors of society, such as medicine, geology, fault diagnosis, computer hardware and software, chemistry analysis, bioengineering areas and so on.The main feature of expert system is that it possesses huge repository for storing special knowledge in certain field. How to select the appropriate form to represent knowledge, that is, to find a reasonable and effective mapping of knowledge and representation, has now become current expert system research hotspot. The purpose of researching knowledge representation is: with effective knowledge representation, artificial intelligence programme can make use of knowledge to make plans, identify conditions and targets, analyze scenery and make decision.With development of network technology, XML has become an important network computing language. First of all, XML is open, it allows various organizations and individuals to establish markup sets for their own needs, and these markup can be put into use soon; secondly, XML is separable, its data storage format can get rid of the restraints of display format. In addition XML is conducive to information communication between different systems, it is expansile and selfcompatible, etc, all these factor make it powerful tool for data exchange. As the XML standard system and technology getting mature, XML begins to be used in knowledge representation and treatment field.On the basis of previous research, this thesis emphatically analyzes knowledge processing technology of object-oriented Expert System. First, on the basis of previous research, an improved knowledge representation method based on object-oriented technology is proposed. Then, analyzed and compared kinds of knowledge representation methods, discussed rule-object combine way, combining the characteristics of XML, this thesis proposes knowledge representation and implements technology based on XML intelligence concept, as well as proposes analysis and inference construction of XML object-oriented knowledge based on DOM. It makes the improved object-oriented knowledge representation technology develop to realization from theory. In the end, based on those theoretical results, an expert system is established with XML as the repository representation language, expected result is achieved.
