But for a long time, the country's coal production has been puzzled by safety problems. Among the coal mine safety problems, gas explosion and coal mine flood are the most serious. The coal mine flood occurs frequently, brings enormous threat to the worker's safety and the coal mine's economic efficiency. The main course is the backward coal mine drainage system, which is still manual controlled by worker. For human factor influence, the system has bad timeliness and poor reliability.Therefore, under the LabVIEW platform, uses the virtual instrument technology, a set of coal mine drainage monitoring system has been designed to realize the coal mine drainage automation.The monitoring system's hardware section is based on a coal mine drainage simulation system. By the help of a data acquisition card USB-6008, which belongs to the NI Company, the design has realized data acquisition for sump level, water pressure, flow, water temperature, and etc. Combined with relays, USB-6008 is also adopted for the pumps and vacuum pumps' controlling.The software section is the main part of the design. It's programming platform is the graphical programming software LabVIEW. Aimed at clean and artistic, the program adopts "tab control" for the multi-interface design. At the "user login interface", with the application of the free tool kit LabSQL, it has built the linking bridge for the database management between LabVIEW and Access. By using this method, the program sets up a multi-user password management system with different user permission settings. So the user interface of the management system is safe and friendly; By establishing the vist and management to the Access, the program has also realized real-time data recording. Users can make historical data inquiry and historical waveform inquiry at the "data inquiry" and " historical waveform" interface; Users can also observe the real-time dynamic working scene at the "working scene" interface; According to the monitoring system's overall control request, the paper has given the control flow based on the water level monitoring principle, power using "avoiding the peak and trending to the vale" principle, water pump and drain line working in turn principle, and etc; It has also achieved the remote data transmission by adopting of DataSocket; The implement of Notifier makes the data transmitted from the main-VI to the sub-VI synchronously.The advantage of this design lies in the low cost and short development cycle. It has provided a thoro new solution for the coal mine drainage monitoring system. It is an experiment for the application of virtual instrument techonology in the coal mine.
