Design And Development Of RADIUS Billing Server For VoIP Production

This article especially discusses of design and analysis of RADIUS server for large-scale VOIP system, it also provides a material implementation scheme using Java programming language combining technology of Oracle Database.The system includes RADIUS module and administering module.It supports multi GK administration,authentices user's request,supports flexible account policy and statistics.This system provides the basic functions that be defined by H.323 and simple and convenient operating and management functions,so it maks good winning after entering market.The author writes this article based on the project,first he introduces the architecture,protocol's stack,functions of main modules and typical call procedure of H.323,then introduces system design and implement,including RADIUS module architecture design,software's architecture design,and administering module architecture design and implement, as well as introducing the functions of software modules.Then,emphasizingly discusses the optimization of the system.Latest,introduces the tests.Eventually,the author makes a summary and puts forward some advanced ideas for it.
