The Intelligent Network Camera Based On DSP

Intelligent video monitoring system has been widely used in the fields of security control, intelligent traffic system, flying target tracking, and so on. It has wide application in many scopes. It is the important high-tech method and technology to guarantee the public security of modern society. Most of video monitoring systems on the market are composed of industrial control computer which work unstably, and the price is too high. In order to get rid of these defects, in this dissertation a new system based on digital signal processor TMS320VC5416 is used, which can give an alarm without man's surveillance and can achieve transmission technology on LAN.The article mainly accomplishes the research of intelligent video monitoring system on DSP technology. Above all, the development and application of intelligent video monitoring system through network are described, and then it gives a brief introduction of the structure of hardware design and digital signal processor and the image processing arithmetic is discussed. The image signal data collected by CMOS sensor are filtered in order to reduce the effect of noise. A fast algorithm of median filter is presented and after the change of gray, whether motion occurs or not is detected through motion detection. In order to achieve its intelligence, an algorithm on motion detection is adjusted so that it is more adapted to DSP. In the article, some experiments on the image processing algorithm and motion detection algorithm are done in the CCS to prove its validity and practicability, and in the article, some experiments on the image processing algorithm and motion detection algorithm are done in the CCS to prove its effectiveness. As a result, it proves that the intelligent video monitoring system has a bright future. In the end of the thesis, some suggestions about how to expand this system to a more integrate and powerful intelligent scene supervision and control system are brought forward.
