| Along with the improvement of plastic performance and the development of mold technology, more and more products are substituted by plastic products. In order to increase the efficiency of injection mold design and the quality of plastic products, more theories and technologies are introduced into the injection mold design. There has been a fundamental change in the traditional mold design methods. The intellectualized and automated technology becomes an important development direction of injection mold CAD.The thesis researches the intelligent expert decision systems. An injection mold CAD system is developed which Expert System technology is introduced into. The thesis researches and developes the cavity layout and runner system of injection mold CAD based on rule reasoning in particular and realizes the intellectualization and automation of injection mold design.In the fourth chapter, the thesis summarizes the knowledge about the cavity layout of injection mold, proposes the method that determines the number of cavity with multi-factor influence according to the principles and constraints of cavity layout. The thesis establishes the knowledge library of cavity layout, proposes cavity layout methods based on rule reasoning, cavity layout modes and evaluation criterions.In the fifth chapter, the thesis summarizes the structural types and parameter calculation methods of a sprue, runners and gates, establishes the knowledge library, graphic model library and rule-based reasoning (RBR) methods of runner system and realizes the runner system design based on rule reasoning.In addition, the thesis also carries on a great adjustment for the system's frame construction and design process, perfects the injection mold structural design's automatic positioning and assembly, researches ejector pins' layout types and methods in the ejector mechanism, discusses cavity feature classification and creation methods in the injection mold components, realizing automatic creation of cavity features. |
