With the development of modern economy and the improvement of science and technology level,the mold industry as the foundation of modern industry also continues to develop.Along with the continuous development of computer technology,the technology of CAD/CAE/CAM is widely used in the mold industry,which can make an improvement in the mold design and manufacturing level,shorten the production cycle,reduce costs,and accelerate the update of product.In this paper,combining with enterprise injection mold products,the CAD/CAE/CAM integrated design of telephone shell mold is implemented,aimed at promoting the application of CAD/CAE/CAM,and improving the design and manufacturing level.The main work of this paper is as follows:Based on the design theory and methods of injection mold,by using UG/MoldWizard mold design module the telephone shell mold is designed,including the convex and concave die,inject system,cooling system and ejection mechanism etc.The 3D mold model is converted to STEP format,and then imported into MoldFlow to simulate the injection process.The filling analysis and cooling analysis of the shell mold on the telephone are carried out,which verified the correctness of the structural design by comparing the different options.With orthogonal experiment,the influence of injection parameters on warping deformation is found,and the optimal parameter combination is determined.According to the characteristics of NC machining,the process technology of the mold is analyzed,and Cimatron is used to fulfill NC programming and CNC machining simulation for the convex and concave die of the telephone shell mold,and finally the NC machining of the convex and concave die is completed.In this paper,the CAD/CAE/CAM integrated design of telephone shell mold is successfully implemented,which provides strong support to the enterprises injection mold design and manufacturing level,and provides an important reference for the application of different CAD/CAE/CAM software in the same industry.
