Research On Construction Of Archives Websites In Colleges And Universities In Shandong Province

By downloading websites and analyzing comparatively, describes the sites' basic information such as the set ratio, site names, domain names, opening hours, site entrance, the number of visits, and the site forms such as the type of file, a number of columns, site map, English edition, and artistic style. At last, it gives each site a comprehensive score.The third part is about the existing problems of these websites in Shandong Province. Due to the lack of guidance and construction standards, help from the school, analysis of user needs, advanced technological, and excellent talents, the archives websites in colleges and universities in our province each does things in its own way. Their specific representations are forms like poor performance, weak content, rough pages, and limited services. All of these lead to difficult improving.The fourth part put forward some countermeasures in the establishment and improvement. The task of department in charge of this field is to build an organization to standardize the construction. The task of the website builders and defenders is to do an analysis of user needs to be clear about the goal; to improve the webpage making, to enhance visual image; to enrich the content to promote function realization; to allocate human resources rationally and cultivate versatile talents; to strengthen the publicity and promotion to attract users; to be hard at enhancing the maintenance and protection of normal operations.Generally speaking, the building of archives websites in colleges and universities in Shandong Province is still in low level development.
