Color is one of the most important objective attribute of material in the world;and is widly used in many fields such as printing and dyeing, spinning and so on.Real-time, convenient, quantitative standardized color detection technique and color examining instrument have more and more using value. The realization of traditional instrument based on spectrum method and the visual color method already had some application in the market, but in very conditions. The former needs to gather the continuous spectrum characteristic of the object but the organization is complicated, the latter, because the subjective judgement depending on the operator, precision is not good.This papre based on the color theory, the new LED photosource and the new color sensor application , has designed one kind of high accuracy, low cost and portable chromaticity chromatic instrument.The article embarks from the color elementary theory, first introduced several kinds commonly used color system and its concrete algorithm realization.Then based on the color principle unifies the color sensor chip which just appeared, propose one kind of low cost, the high accuracy and the portable chromaticity chromatic instrument realization plan, And give a detailed explanation to this kind of plan from optics structure, hardware architecture, software architecture. Finally introduced the instrument calibration and the data adjust method,; And has given the contrast analysis to the instrument's result and the ordinary spectroscope to the sample's result. Its precision and reappears are both very well. The experimental result indicates the development chromaticity chromatic instrument with this article introduced method already achieved the practical request.The further research indicates the method which the article has introduced both can measure the liquid color and the solid color, In addition, the chromaticity chromatic instruments which is constructed with this method is low cost, portable, high accuracy and can be widly used in every fields.
