Research On Design And Construction Of ERP Platform For Shipyards Based On Workflow Technology

With the increasing development of computer technology and the depth of the enterprise informatization, there are more and more challenges about the enterprise information system. The workflow technology which is suitable for business process reengineer and business process management brought fresh air to the enterprise information system. To fix the process is the way that traditional ERP does which is now not adapt to the development of the enterprise. Making the workflow technology as the core of ERP system may bring many good features, high flexibility, quickly generating application software system according to the requirements of enterprise, and quickly to restructure the process to satisfy the customers' needs.Using workflow technology, it can detach the process logic from the real business process, and to become an ERP module. Take the workflow engine as the core mechanism of business processing, driving the business under the predefined rule, provide a totally new method for the ERP development and execution.This paper is mainly discuss about the ERP platform for shipyards based on Workflow Technology, elaborated the research of the applications of the workflow technology in the development and management ,and in the field of practice application.First, this paper studies the basic theory of the workflow technology and the ERP deeply, then analyses the shortage of the ERP of nowadays, the possibility of the combination of the workflow technology and the ERP system and the predominance of the workflow technology when it has been brought into the ERP system, then puts forward the idea of the ERP platform for shipyards. Takes the business process of ERP for shipyard for example, uses the process analysis technology, abstracts the business process of the shipyards, and analyzes requirements of the platform. According to those requirements, this paper designs the function module and the whole framework of the platform, also the particular execute scheme of the system, finally realized the function of the system partly. It makes customs define the process and bill viewable, figures out the challenge of the alternation of the shipyards business process, reaches the requirement of the shipyard ERP business, which improves the development and management efficiency of ERP system.
