| WCDMA, as one of the international standards for 3G, can provide high bit rates multi-media services and any kind of communications. It has been commercially used in Europe successfully.There not exist commercial bureaus of WCDMA systems in China at the present. So it is impossible to test any equipment within a large traffic environment. In order to test NodeB and RNC, the two important equipments of WCDMA system, this thesis puts forward and implements a large traffic simulation system. The system has been successfully used in testing of NodeB and RNC. It is featured by its high efficiency, flexibility, reliability, scalability, and high performance in real-time. Its design model and implementation technique are worthwhile for popularizing in the development of real-time protocol software.This thesis is organized as follows. It first introduces the WCDMA mobile communication system. After studying the WCDMA system radio interface protocol, it then presents the design scheme of a large WCDMA traffic simulation system, and introduces the essential technique and algorithm in the implementation of the system. Finally, the thesis draws conclusions and gives suggestions to improve the system. |
