The monopulse angle measurement is often used to measure angle in the radar. It receives object echo signal by multiple antennas at the same time, and gets object angle information through comparing object echo signals'amplitude and phase. Based on the studies of the structure of radar system and the angle measuring principle of radar, the design and implementation of the monopulse angle measurement subsystem of some type of radar are achieved in this dissertation. At first, the principle of the monopulse angle measurement is introduced in this article. Based on the simulation result of the monopulse phase sum-difference angle measurement method which is the chosen method in the project, the character of angle measurement is analyzed. Then, combining with this project, the hardware and software system are designed to implement the function. The hardware system is designed by using FPGA and DSP. Eventually, Software design and debug of the function in signal processor is introduced .DSP software for this project is designed using assemble language. Control logic in FPGA is designed in VHDL language. The detailed method of the design and analysis of practical data is presented.
