Handoff Optimization In GSM System

Mobile system's development went through profound change in the past ten of years and the hottest topic of today is 3G. The mobile company should optimize the mobile network in order to improve service quality. Network optimization is to analyze and evaluate the system according to its actual behavior and performance. On this basis, the higher performance of the network and better network service quality are achieved by adjusting the parameters of system. This passage is combination the GSM network of Qiqihaer, we implement the optimization project for handoff and the key parameters. First we optimize the radio environment, and check the hardware problem and adjust the base station antenna coverage in order to enhance the network voice quality and the handoff success rate. Secondly we check the neighbor list of high drop calling cell, and amend the wrong neighbor list. Through the whole network optimization, the key parameters and the drive test data are improved.
