| Synchronization is an important and difficult problem of communication technology, especially in digital communication system. With the rapid development of modern communication networks, he importance of synchronization becomes more prominent. Many of technology and communication systems such as Spread Spectrum, CDMA and OFDM, and so on, all need the precise carrier synchronization, clock synchronization and code synchronization, or the system performance can not be guaranteed. After introducing the basic principle of synchronization and summing up the general communication protocol in physical layer, data link layer and call control layer, this paper emphasize on synchronization and timing theories. The key point of this paper is the design and development of frame synchronization and timing. In addition, the design schemes of synchronization and timing are also given in different types of frame. In the last, the performance is analyzed by simulation and test. |
