Stagnant museum industry has been a headache for us.Although we have taken measures to step up training of the museum industry,we have no success.The reason is that museum curriculum of universities to guide the development of the industry has serious problems.In order to solve this problem,this paper introduces the Museum curriculum system of Universities in America.Want to give us some inspiration and reference.The full text is divided into four parts,the first part is the introduction.Opening puts forward the problem and it expounds that we need personnel support the Museum on the path of its professionalism.In personnel training systems, universities have played a leading role,but graduates do not meet the needs of the museum.Its underlying reason is the problem of curriculum system,so I have chosen the United States to study the system for the better development of its museum industry.Subsequently,it is literature review.Our Researchers studied the curriculum in the eighties of the twentieth century and they only made the concept of thinking of the macro-system.Up to the nineties,it became little better. Researchers not only talked about how to set up the wider museum professional courses, but also specifically discussed the museum's internship program.At the same time, they introduced the curriculum of a university abroad and provided us the information of universities set up museum courses,but without specific.As for abroad,Grobman and Reimann in the forties of the twentieth century began to discuss museum curriculum of university,which led to talk about papers of museum curriculum of specific in the seventies.In the eighties some researchers proposed the implementation of the curriculum in university.Nineties to the present, the researchers summed up the history of universities museum curriculum and the curriculum project put forward by researchers and discussion of the curriculum program.The second part is the history of the Museum curriculum of American.The text discusses in detail from Pennsylvania College of Technology Museum(now the Philadelphia Museum of Art) in 1908 to the multicultural museum curriculum at present.The third part is the contemporary system of museum professional curriculum of Universities in America.The overall classification from the academic level is divided into four categories,namely,an independent undergraduate museum professional curriculum:independent graduate's museum professional curriculum: both undergraduate and graduate's museums professional curriculum:both master's and doctoral museum professional curriculum.And the text introduces typical cases for each category in detail.Then it sums up their features in various charts.The forth part analyzes the reasons of curriculum system and poses six factors. They are the International museum organization;the U.S.educational system;United States national notion;Western course training mode and American culture;The tradition of museum professional curriculum in America.
