| Vocational education is growing rapidly in our country, and now the state alsopay more attention to secondary vocational education, no matter the teaching facultyor equipment input shows the great expectation to the vocational education from ourgovernment. The graduates from secondary vocational schools are the basic power forurban construction. The school has the responsibility to cultivate talents to meet socialneeds, if the school can train high quality talents for society, at the same time can alsohelp the students to get the right career, that’s a win-win situation. It’s also a goodcontribution for the sustainable development of the school. However, the traditionalcourse is not suitable for the changing social demands nowadays, and training talentscan not use traditional way as the only training mode any more. In our society today,whether from the teaching idea, or teaching content, teaching method and so on allmust be transformed, especially secondary vocational education. Students can masterthe professional skill and can do well in their actual work is one of the objectives thateducators pursue. Curriculum Reforms on work-integrated Learning that combine thelearning with actual work effectively solve the defects of traditional education insome extend, let the student accept work task, simulate real work process, take part inthe work process, therefore to know well about actual work standards.The paper takes VB program design as an example, in the process of curriculumreform on work-integrated learning about the VB program design course developmentmethod, and the basic process of development, especially to determine work tasks oftypical method, field study description method, the study of the context of the designand schoolwork and the writing of the text, the way to learn the choice of methods andlearning environment, the design of curriculum evaluation method is discussed in thispaper.This paper expounds about the VB program design on work-integrated learning,and the teaching practice and assessment of the course, the results show that thecurriculum reform on work-integrated learning already win students’ recognition and affirmation by secondary vocational schools in practice. Through integrating the VBprogramming courses, according to the actual work procedure in the teaching process,let the students to simulate real work, the students are very willing to accept, teacherslayout work task, students discuss planning, implementation plan and check theresults according to the flow of actual work. The groups present and compete eachother, the students enjoy the fun of the work. In such a working environment, thestudents’ professional ability, knowledge ability, social ability, comprehensive ability,etc are fully developed. |
