The manufacturing process simulation based on Arena is disserted to achieve the purpose of visualization in scientific computing and make the manufacturing process more intuitive in this paper. Taking the FMS of North China University of Technology as the research object, simulation is made by changing the number of pallets for studies, optimizing of the manufacturing process of the system, making the system to achieve the maximization of production efficiency.Comprehensively analyses related modules in modeling process is made in this paper using module of the panel on Arena platform as the main line, and the simulation at the core of queuing theory combining with FMS to the manufacturing process is emphasized on.First of all, this paper disserts the famous simulation software - Arena. A detail analysis and comparison of today's popular range of advantages and disadvantages of simulation software is made. Combining with flexible manufacturing system in our university, Arena is taken into the simulation of flexible manufacturing process. The simulation panels and modules are studied and the definition of the two simulation conditions in the manufacturing process is given.Secondly, the Queuing Theory used in manufacturing process simulation is introduced. The internal relationship between the queuing model and simulation tool Arena in the flexible manufacturing system is discussed.Finally, the manufacturing simulation process is made to flexible manufacturing system for the specific study, discussed the model process, given the course of two-dimensional animation demo. When the pallet number changes in the FMS, the simulation output of corresponding system productivity is gotten, according to the simulation results, when the number of the pallets of the highest productivity is gained the maximum utilization of system resources is gotten. The visualization of scientific computing in the manufacturing process can be achieved. Optimization of production process of manufacturing system could be realized and production efficiency of complicated manufacturing system could be improved.
