With the vigorous development of our traffic condition and the rapid-growing preserve of automobile,many high-tech equipments such as electron police are emerging in public gradually in recent years.However, there are many problems as the low velocity accuracy, the low efficiency and the blurring of images in the domestic speed-measuring and overspeed-snapshotting equipments now, which affects the fair and balance of discovery on regulation violation. At the same time, the direction of overspeed snapshotting is fixed, it can only aim at the incoming vehicles with flash lamp at night. The intense flash light will have impact on the drivers, which will induce traffic accidences and influence the traffic safety.The main content of this article is about studying and designing a effective correlation detection method to measure the overspeed targets,namely through the acquisiton and processing of the double-channel CW Doppler speed radar data to realize the accurate measure of the vehicle's velocity from different directions. Simultaneously after catching the target, it can automatically trigger the image acquisition equipment to make the car license number in picture clear ,solving the widespread problems among the e-police speed measuring equipments, especially, it solves the problem of snapshotting with flash lamp from the rear at night.To design the effective method of measuring overspeed, firstly we should establish a Matalab simulated model according to the characteristics of the signals of the Doppler speed radar, finish the input of the simulated data, the processing of the noise, the analysis of the spectrum transformation and some other tasks of target data measurement and calculation, achieving the measuring simulate of the vehicle's moving speed and direction ,and examine its possibility and accuracy.By the simulated model have established, we design a radar control system based on DSP in the e-police system to acquire the radar signals, set working condition patameter, examine the overspeed vehicle automatically and send the information of the overseeding condition and signal promptly to trigger image acquisition equipment to snapshot useful photo. Also the radar control system should be with tiny size, low power, high cost performance and high working reliability.After finishing the design, we will experiment and debug the system in real road condition and make the electronic police system measure the overspeed vehicle from different direction to prove its high efficiency, high accuracy, effective snapshoting of car license number and its ideal condition of using with flash at night.Then examine its stability. Finally finish the examination of software and hardware in the whole system. The ideal result achieves the standard regulations and the technical specifications related.
