An Agent Oriented E-Commerce System Modeling Method And Tool Implementation

At present, the research of software agent system becomes more and more active in the distributed artificial intelligence field. Especially, it has become hot research subject among the domestic and overseas scholar, and enterprise that applying multi-agent technology on the E-Commerce. As a development model of Software, internal architecture of agent should be studied as well as the architecture multi-agent system and the method of modeling of multiagent system. To provide person who concerns the system developing more view of the system, in order to enhance the efficiency of system developing and improve the quality of the system.Based on the backgrounds, a main study and research has been done in the paper for the agent-orient modeling method. On the base of it, the E-Commerce System as well as merchandise managetment module has been developed and has been implemented on the Eclipse platform. In detail, our main work can be described as follows:Firstly, According to the difference between Agent and object, using object-oriented method, the paper mainly introduces analyzes serval famous software development methods such as MaSE, Tropos and Gaia, and proposes an Agent-oriented analysis and modeling method . It has made some extensions to UML for the models representation in order to enable it to suit for many characteristics of Agent.Secondly, with studying the knowledge of the E-Commerce System as well as merchandise management module, the paper applies the modeling method and the modeling step designed in the paper to the development of merchandise management module, and describes the system models of each stage in the AOSE(Agent-Oriented Software Engineering) from different layers and different views in detail.Finally, the paper impements a model representation method based on EMF (Eclipse Modeling Framework) and GEF (Graphical Editing Framework). Moreover, on the basis of studying an open source agent development platform-JADE, we make the best use of the functions and characteristics it offered , and develope the method of the code-generation from Agent interaction protocol to agent-based code on the platform.The practice result indicates the modeling method designed in the paper can suit for the related requests in the Agent-Oiented Software Devoloping and plays an important role on the change that occurs from the OOSE to AOSE. What's more, the process of the system implementation contributed much to the application of the modem E-Commerce system and the agent-oriented technology.
