Study On A Web-based Cooperative IETM Model And Its Application

With the weapon equipment more complicated and larger datum the tradition maintenance mode depending on page-oriented technical information is able to equal to its ability, new maintenance mode is exigent. Then the IETM (Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals) emerge as the times require. The IETM supports the interactive search, index and update of the technical information and offers the detail data of assembly, so it reduces the maintenance time extremely. The development level of IETM is close correlative with the use of equipment and the maintenance level of equipment. The application of the IETM in the military domain can improve the integrative support level and strength our army battle effectiveness.On the base of IETM development of a certain aircraft, this paper introduces internal and international general situation and the requirement of authoring IETM and places the emphases on the key technical of implementing IETM. According to our army actuality and existing equipments support level, this paper brings forward technical solution, reference standard and implementing technique of converting to IETM and originally put forward the viewpoint of solving the major equipment informationization with xml technique base on S1000D.This paper studies on the IETM structure models based on WEB and discusses the characteristic, the applied circumstance of each of them in details. This paper also introduces the IETM author model in the S1000D.This paper introduces the design and implement of the one aircraft IETM system and studies on the author procedure and its relative technique of IETM in detail. This paper also gives the coherent IETM system structure based on WEB. This paper also offers one design thought and implementing method of separating author system from reader system. The author designs the author system in accord with S1000D based on C/S and the reader system based on B/S. The level of software arrives at the IETP-X of the S1000D. This system can improve the maintenance efficiency and achieve the huge economic benefit.
